As long-term farmers, we started growing olive trees three generations ago. Since then, we have produced Extra-Virgin Olive Oil with the passion and sacrifice that only those who work the land understand. We make the most of our endemic varieties and combine our old-method experience with modern technology.
“Frantoio Foddi”, our olive oil mill, is located in the south-western Sardinian town of Gonnosfanadiga, where lowlands blend with hills at the bottom of the Monte Linas massif. We aim to conserve our territory by growing the local “Nera di Gonnos” olive cultivar, that produces an Extra-Virgin Olive Oil which is representative of the identity of this land. We obtain our olive oil by pressing the local “Nera di Gonnos” olive cultivar, that takes its name from Gonnosfanadiga – which is rich in this variety.
The discovery of rudimental oil mills in the town testifies that olive growing is an ancient tradition in this region.
