How to buy

You can buy our products by referring to our on line catalogue on this site.

All the information about the products with the icon “buy on line”, the price and how to purchase them, can be obtained by simply clicking on the icon.

Clicking the “purchase” button automatically adds the item to your shopping basket.

To see the products in your basket go to the top right of the page to the shopping basket icon where you will see a summary of your current order which you can change as necessary.

After having read the terms and conditions and privacy policy by clicking on the “proceed to purchase” button you must add shipping and invoice details.

By using the “complete purchase” button you must select your payment method and confirm your order.

By confirming the order, which is a contract, the customer acknowledges and declares to have read all the information provided during the purchasing and payment process and to accept them fully.

You will receive an e-mail confirming your order. Within 5 working days your order will be shipped to the selected address.

If a product is temporarily unavailable you will be promptly informed and we will inform you of the time you will receive your order.

 

From which countries can you shop on line?

E-shopping can be done anywhere by accessing frantoiofoddi.it which is available in English and Italian versions. Products can only be shipped to Italy and other countries in the European Union.

Which cards can be used for payment?

Payment can be made by the following methods:

  • PayPal, where the payment will be debited when your order is confirmed.
  • Credit cards; cards accepted are: Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Visa Electron, American Express, Aura, Discover. Cards will be debited by using PayPal.

 

Can I use other methods of payment?

It is not possible to purchase from the on line shop with either a bank transfer or cash on delivery.

How much does shipping cost?

The cost of express delivery depends on the weight of the purchased product: the exact cost is calculated from your shopping basket and at checkout depending on your choice and is added to your bill as a separate item in respect of the cost of the product.

 

Are there limits to what I can purchase?

  • The minimum purchase must not be less than €10 exclusive of shipping costs.
  • There is no maximum purchase limit. The purchase limit is only determined by the availability of the product.

 

How does delivery work?

Shortly after receiving the order fulfilment e-mail, the carrier will take charge of delivery which will take place within 2 to 15 working days unless otherwise specified by the country’s destination, and/or setbacks, depending on the geographical area of the product’s destination (Italy/Europe).

We advise you to provide an address where you can be easily located.

Thoroughly check your data for the delivery:

  • don’t forget to include your street name/number and a contact telephone number.

If all the information is accurate for the carrier it will be easier to locate you and you will receive your goods more quickly.

All purchases will be sent by express delivery from Monday – Friday, excluding public and national holidays.

Frantoio Foddi /Azienda Agricola Foddi Sisinnio assumes responsibility for the direct delivery of the ordered goods to the address indicated by the Customer at time of ordering. The ordered goods will be shipped completely at the risk of Frantoio Foddi /Azienda Agricola Foddi Sisinnio.

What should I do on delivery?

Take special care when the goods are delivered, always ensure:

a)    That the package is intact and conforms to standard features and that:

  • the number of packages indicated on the invoice, delivery note or shipping/tracking e-mail corresponds to the number of packages actually delivered.
  • In case the order is delivered on pallets ensure that the wrapping film is intact, firmly attached and with no anomalous openings.

b)    In case of damage caused by transport or suspected missing products: Sign the carrier’s document writing “Accepted with RESERVATIONS” specifying the reasons.

c)    Once the package(s) is opened check that bottles and tins are not broken and that the edges of the caps are not tampered with, also check that the seals of warranty are intact.

d)    Without “Reservations” written it is not possible to make a claim for damaged or missing goods.

e)    If it is not possible to accept your delivery with “Reservations”:

f) Note that your refusal of a package does not mean that you are entitled to the right of withdrawal.

 

If the carrier arrives and I am not at home?

g)    Two attempts are made for every delivery free of charge.

h)   If in both cases the recipient is absent the carrier will indicate so in a note that is left. Storage can incur costs that are not ascribable to Frantoio Foddi/Azienda Agricola Foddi Sisinnio.

i)     In the case of non-payment/refusal of package/order by you we will request you to pay for the delivery, plus any other costs incurred.
